Date and Time: Saturday June 6, 2009 – 9:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Location: Osgoode Hall Law School – Moot Court Room – York University – 4700 Keele St.
The day will be divided between a morning session and an afternoon session. Between the morning and the afternoon, you will have a chance to tour Osgoode Hall law school and chat with law students. In the afternoon you will have the option of participating in a “mock LSAT”.
Morning Session – 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. – Moot Court Room
Morning Session – Learn from the law school admissions officers
You will specific presentations from the admissions directors of Canadian law schools. You will learn about their law programs, joint programs and discover how to apply to law school more effectively.
Law School Tour and Meet Law Students – 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon Session – Choose either Option 1 or Option 1
Option 1 – Various Sessions – Room 104
2:00 p.m. – 4:50 p.m. – 3 Parts
This will consist of 3 parts:
2:00 p.m. – 2:50 p.m. – Your first law school class taught by Professor Allan Hutchinson of Osgoode Hall. In order to get maximum benefits from the class, you are urged to read the case in advance.
3:00 p.m. – 3:50 p.m. – Lawyer’s Panel Discussion – This will be in the format of a panel discussion. You will hear various lawyers talk about their careers. What they like, what they don’t, what would they change, etc. You are encouraged to ask questions and participate in the discussion.
4:00 p.m – 4:50 (assuming you still want to attend law school) – Introductory LSAT preparation class. Try some questions. Learn about the LSAT, LSAT books, LSAT courses, etc. Get yourself off to a strong start.

Option 2 – Mock LSAT – For those who are taking the LSAT on Monday June 8!
Optional Mock LSAT – 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Room 106
The real LSAT is on June 6. Copies of the June 2007 LSAT will be distributed. If you wish to do another test, feel free to bring it.
